This year’s King’s Cross Cycle to MAPIC  featured 700km of cycling and almost 6000m of climbing, completing this year’s charity cycle challenge was no mean feat for those more used to an office environment.

On 12th November forty cyclists from the retail property industry took to their road bikes to ride from Girona, in northern Spain to Cannes. The route took them across the rugged, beautiful and hilly terrain of the Spanish and French Mediterranean coastline.  They arrived jubilant in Cannes four days later, in time for the start of MAPIC, the annual retail property conference.

Along the way, the riders benefited from a pro cyclist experience, with motorcycle outriders and full crew support in the form of lead car, mechanics, paramedics and sports therapists.

Aspire handle all PR related activities for Club Peloton’s Cycle to MAPIC. Our work includes writing press releases and media alerts, managing media relations, handling social media, supporting on PR events and providing on event support – daily media alerts and photo calls. Aspire PR Lead Kate Gordon handles the PR and rides the entire 700km MAPIC route  showing utmost dedication to her role.
