We were given the task of creating a brand-new website to represent the brand values of Club Peloton giving scope for the charity to grow and to manage the website without reliance on a web agency. The new website needed to reflect the charity’s move from one flagship event to a provider of logistics for a full portfolio of events.
In close collaboration with Club Peloton Aspire worked to produce a clean, fresh, image filled website that matches the design-led industry in which the charity works. The events see industry professionals – with a good eye for detail – swapping their suits and laptops for lycra and bikes, the new Club Peloton website keeps pace with its target market.
Built on a wordpress platform, the website is fully responsive and has flexible CMS enabling the charity to self-manage on a day-to-day basis. The website succeeds in representing the breadth of the work of Club Peloton showcasing their entire portfolio of events – including a cycle safety area for which they are proud of their involvement..
The main site navigation was created with distinct zones for flagship rides, news, cycle safety and a brand-new client area established to showcase events to develop new business. The event sponsors were given better exposure – a key requirement of the client. The new website is a hub for news and updates and a community for cyclists to return to time after time and the site’s structure is such that new events can be added as the charity grows.
Aspire managed the entire project, streamlining and de-cluttering the existing site, writing copy, selecting images and advising on content. Aspire worked between the client and the developer, achieving sign off at each phase – keeping the project to a tight schedule.
Club Peloton is a fundraising charity that specialises in creating business networks.
It uses cycling as a platform for challenge events, bringing together a love for the sport and the opportunity to raise money for great causes. Delivering unique and inclusive group ride events and experience, its journey started in 2006 with the cycle to MIPIM, an annual ride from London to Cannes arriving in time for MIPIM, the leading international real estate fair in Cannes. In 2017, 200 riders will take part in the 12th edition of Cycle to MIPIM.
On Club Peloton events industry professionals swap their suits for lycra and receive pro-treatment – lead cars, rolling road closures, mechanics and sports therapists. The experience they provide is the closest and amateur cyclist can get to riding like a professional. The friendly and interactive atmosphere builds camaraderie very quickly and forms the core of Club Peloton’s ethos.
Club Peloton also helps create bespoke rides for a growing list of clients within the industry areas in which it operates. Profits from these clients enhance its annual fundraising total.
Aspire handle all PR related activities for Club Peloton which includes their flagship event Cycle to MIPIM, Cycle to MAPIC and their women only ride pedElle.
