Our task was to engage with blogger and social media communities to drive attendance at The Running Show. In addition we wanted to generate content at the show that would have longevity after the event itself.
We created an exclusive event within the show for bloggers and social media influencers. This event was a mini conference run in partnership with ‘blogging body’ Write This Run. There was a panel of six leading brands in attendance. The content schedule was designed to appeal to paid attendees, but would include elicit material for pitching to media post-event.
Tickets were sold out. We secured six credible brands to take part in the panel debate and to provide product for the goodie bags. 100% positive feedback was received from attendees. A series of articles were published post-show in partnership with Run247.
Aspire’s role was to provide full PR and social media services for The Running Show, creating exposure for the exhibitors and the show itself. This included writing and distributing press releases and media alerts, media management, creating social media campaigns before, during and after the show.
